Frequently asked questions

Answers. Support. A way forward.

Learn about our foundation, family assistance and ways to make a difference.

What is TCARF?

The Children at Risk Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is committed to supporting children and teens whose lives are directly impacted by parental incarceration. We assist through monthly food distribution and support groups, as well as quarterly clothing distribution.

The foundation also collaborates with probation and parole to offer community service opportunities to individuals reentering society. Not only do these individuals earn service hours by working in our distribution warehouses, they are able to contribute to the next generation, reinforcing the importance of paying it forward.

How can I make a donation to TCARF?

You can donate today by clicking the Donate Now button at the top of the page. Your gift is made through our Zeffy donation form.

You can also help support our mission by donating your time. Please see below regarding volunteering with TCARF. Our mission is made possible through the generosity of time and resources of individuals like you.

How can I volunteer for TCARF?

Our volunteers provide a variety of services to the children, teens, families and staff. From food and clothing distribution to support groups, assisting with community outreach or providing office support, volunteers are an essential part of The Children at Risk team.
